Have you seen the beautiful hand-painted aida cross-stitch patterns available these days?  Not being very artitistic myself, I've often wondered how anyone without this talent can afford to make these patterns.  After visiting a cross-stitch shop in Breckenridge, Colorado with Susie during our last 'honeymoon' weekend a few months ago, I knew that there must be another way!

That's when we started thinking,  why do these need to be hand painted?
