Help with the registration form

• Site URL: The URL of the page people will be taken to when they click on your banner.
• Banner URL(s): The URL or address of the banner(s) to be displayed. The URL needs to end with the file name of your banner (Example: http://yoursite.com/images/yourbanner.gif) You can optionally include more than one banner, putting each URL on a separate line.

Adding your banner

Banner Specifications: Your banner must be 468 x 60 pixels. This is the size the code displays your banner in so if you add a banner of a different size it will be resized to this size and may not look right.
Your banner should be less than 15k in size.If you need help creating your banner take a look at the above free banner creation services.Your banner must be added to your account before it can be shown on other members sites.  Sometimes it helps to load an existing banner into your graphics editing program to see how it's done.

To add your banner...
First be sure that you have uploaded your banner to your website. Login to your account and click on the Edit Account button. Find the box titled Banner URL(s): This is where you will enter the full URL of your banner. Example: http://www.yourwebsite.com/directory/banner.gif
Notice this URL does not end in html or htm. The URL must end with the file name of your graphic.

How change your account information

To change your banner(s) or other account information click on the stats link at the top of this page. After entering your account name and password you will see a button that says "Edit Account". Click on this button to change your account information. Your changes may take up to 48 hours to go into effect.

How to cancel your membership

If for any reason you want to stop participating in the exchange, of course we hope you don't.  But if you do, to cancel your membership you will need to remove all Needle Arts Banner Exchange code from you page(s). This will keep your server from generating errors as it tries to access a non-existant account on our servers.  After removing the code you can delete your account on the "Edit Account" page as described above.
